Boston Wedding Photographer | Beantown Bride Vintage Engagement Shoot Giveaway

I am happy to announce my very own giveaway featured on Beantown Bride. This is something that I have wanted to do for a while. Doing this giveaway makes me happy inside, because I know that for somebody this is exactly what they needed to make their day shine a little bit brighter. This giveaway is a little bit more elaborate than others that I have seen in the past because it involves more than just myself. I am very lucky to have Amy Chase with Punky Style, a vintage fashionista, there to help stylize the shoot and the participants. Amy is known for her life-long love affair with vintage and thrift store shopping, which led her into a business called Swapaholics. This is a really fun way to exchange your old clothing for something new. I love the idea. We will also be gifted with the presence of Sweet Lydia’s who makes yummy treats for brides on their special days. I can tell you one thing -Lydia is a very sweet person, I can’t wait for you to meet her. We also have Michelle with Demiche Beaute’ doing the hair and makeup of our winning engaged couple. Michelle has such a fun personality… she will be a joy to work with, I promise. And last but not least we have owner Marina of iFlorissima working with us to add a little bit of color and style with her beautiful flowers. She is amazing and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with for this giveaway.

So, if you are interested in entering the giveaway. Please feel free! The only thing we ask is that you go to Beantown Bride where you will be instructed to leave the following comment:

“HOW TO WIN: Wedding tradition states the bride must wear something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue on her big day. To win this amazing prize, leave a comment telling us what item you plan on wearing for your “something old” on your wedding day. Our favorite item wins this awesome photo shoot and the runner-up will be selected for another inspirational photo shoot coming up soon!”

I thought this was a very fun way to see what old (vintage if you will) things people will use on their wedding day. I was able to wear a pair of old clip on earrings in my hair from my grandmother who passed away when I was 12. I miss her and write her husband (my grandfather) a postcard about every month to tell him how much I love him. Grandparents are truly the best!

We will announce the winners on 09.06.10. Good luck.
