Boston Wedding Photographer | Just a preview.

I hope you all enjoyed your sunny weekend in Boston. I was a busy bee this weekend, which is always good. Today, I want to consider love. Love is such a wonderful thing. It makes my heart happy to see others in love. Loving others is such a gift. The desire placed within each of our souls to have companionship beyond ourselves is a beautiful thing. We aren’t meant to do life alone. After waiting several years for my true love… I learned how it felt to be lonely. I hate loneliness. Ryan and I got married last year at the age of 29. I thought he would never come… To keep myself sane I used to write love letters to my future husband to-be.

Here is an entry from Dec. 2004 “I never thought it was possible to love and miss a person so much before ever meeting them. Honey, I wish you were here right now. I need you. As tears stream down my face I dream of the days when you can just hold me in your arms and embrace me. Can you choose me soon, won’t you come and protect me, and embrace me? I have to learn to trust God right now in my life because he’s teaching me to rely on Him before I can rely on you. He will always be my strength. I want you to know I think of you too often and I can’t wait till you arrive. I love you -Tyra”

Although, Ryan and I had been friends for several years prior to our relationship, I never looked at him in a romantic kind of way. He was always the type of guy I could see myself with but he just wasn’t that guy back then. My mom used to encourage me that one day a veil will uncover my eyes and I will see my husband who has been sitting in front of me all along. Well, it happened. When we started talking it was like, this is it, he’s the one and I’ve known him for eight years. It was too easy and I am so thankful for that. I will share some other letters with you at a later date. I want you to know this… I know how it feels to wait for that right person, it’s hard, but it’s worth the wait.

I did two amazing shoot this weekend and I can’t wait to share them in detail, for now, I will share a PREVIEW from a Alden Blair Events. Enjoy.
