I love the outdoors. I told my husband if I sometimes wish I could do photography part-time and be an outdoor parks and recs guide. The summer of 2009, I was able to come home from Spain after a three-month journey of learning Spanish, living in a small city with the locals and traveling for three weeks with my mom in Spain, Italy, Germany, and France. When I arrived home I got a job working for the parks and recs department in the city of Spokane. It was a dream job, river-raft guiding, kayak tours, bike tours and other random event coordinating. Working outdoors and being in the sun while getting a workout is what I call fun, not a job. Needless to say, I love outdoor photography as well. I am obsessive about the light and what it brings to my photos. So when James and Jacqui told me they were getting married at a camp, I knew this was my cup of tea.
James and Jacqui are two very creative people. I was so excited to record their wedding and all of their so very cute details. It truly was a beautiful wedding.
