Here’s a chance for me to write to you about your engagement session location options. Engagement sessions are so much fun. I absolutely love spending time with my couples during their engagement sessions. This is always a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and do a practice round for your wedding. You can read about some other engagements session tips HERE if you are interested. So let’s consider our choices.
We have so many great options for the location. What is your preference? I want this shoot to reflect your personality. Where are places you both love to go? Here’s an example: My husband and I love the books. I would love it if we could do a shoot that incorporated books in someway. So what do you like? Do you want your shoot to be sentimental –you could go to the place he proposed. Or maybe a bar or coffee place you always hang out at. Do you want your location to be interesting –think rust, old barns, brick or anything with lots of texture. Do you love organic things –let’s go somewhere with lots of leaves or green ivy. One thing to keep in mind is the distance we will have to travel.
Here’s some ideas of locations:
Parks and front doors. I love doing shoot in city parks that are near some really great neighborhoods with sweet looking doors.
The great outdoors. I enjoy the organic feel of photos that are taken with big trees or flowing grass. These natural elements make for great photos.
Architecture. The lines and beautiful craftsmanship in the buildings today are spectacular.
Photographers choice. I have a lot of ideas and if you are willing to be flexible I can put something together.
